Patti Warashina

Patti Warashina (b. 1940) is a sculptor who carves figures out of clay with amazing detail to create depictions of the human body, animals, and other imagery.

She received her B.F.A. and M.F.A. from the University of Washington, where she taught for 25 years. Her work can be found in the collection of the Smithsonian, the Museum of Arts and Design, the Mint Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, among others.
