Mark Pharis

Mark Pharis is a ceramic artist in St. Paul, Minnesota. His work has been influenced by his travels to Turkey and the former Yugoslavia; they have an Early Mediterranean feel.

Back home, he studied under Warren MacKenzie at the University of Minnesota, where he is now the Chair of the Department of Art. His exhibitions are numerous and his work can be found in the collections of Arkansas Arts Center, Kansas City Art Institute, Everson Museum, and Los Angeles County Museum of Art, among others.
