Harrison McIntosh (1914-2016) was a studio potter. McIntosh was introduced to ceramics at a USC night class taught by Glen Lukens. In 1944, he was drafted by the U.S. Army and used the G.I. Bill to study ceramics at the Claremont Graduate School. He also studied with Margaret Wildenhain at Pond Farm in the summer of 1953. McIntosh also worked with Peter Voulkos for 6 months at Otis. After his time at Otis, McIntosh set up his studio and began producing pottery in his Claremont studio.
