Chunghi Choo

Chunghi Choo (b. 1938 in Inchon, Korea, retired) is a metalworker. She creates jewelry, hollowware, flatware, sculptures, mixed media objects, and textile art works.

She received a BFA from Ewha Womans University in Korea and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She is the F. Wendell Miller Distinguished Professor of Art in the Jewelry and Metal Arts Program at the University of Iowa. Her work can be found in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Cooper-Hewitt, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Long House Reserve, among others.
