Tokens of Affection: A Retrospective of Valentines by Corinna Cotsen
Opening Reception: Saturday January 27, 2018, 4-6pm
Corinna Cotsen started handmaking and printing a small batch of Valentines about 20 years ago for family and friends. Ever since, it has become a tradition for her to design and craft a select number of cards each year in a related design scheme. Her personal valentines include a variety of processes and materials, from stenciling to printmaking and ribbons to Japanese fine papers. Her thoughtful palette and graphic approach breathe fresh air into a long-standing, sentimental tradition.
Join Cotsen for an opening reception on Saturday January 27th from 4-6pm and view a sample of some of her favorite creations from over the years.
