Workshop: Simple Block Printing

We explored simple ways of block and press printing using inexpensive, readily available materials from office supply and craft stores. Block prints we made by creating a plate with chipboard and craft foam shapes. This created a raised pattern that was then rolled with ink and printing using a rolling pin. Press prints where made with erasers that we gouged and cut and then inked up with stamp pads and pressed onto paper.
