Woodcut print artist Tom Killion will sign copies of his recent homage to the coastal rim of the Golden State, California’s Wild Edge: The Coast in Poetry, Prints and History. The book is the third collaboration between Killion and poet Gary Snyder, with prose by a slew of additional writers scattered throughout. In addition to discussing the new book, Killion will describe his overarching philosophy and approach to landscape art. Killion’s blocks and progressive proofs will be on view to give an inside, up-close glimpse into his printmaking techniques.

Copies of California’s Wild Edge: The Coast in Poetry, Prints and History ($50) and original prints will be available for purchase at Freehand Gallery, next door to the Craft in America Center.
