Summer Virtual Concert Series: Amy K Bormet and Melinda Rice

Meet me Halfway: that was the offer that pianist/vocalist/composer Amy K Bormet and violinist/songwriter Melinda Rice made to each other from Washington, D.C. and Spring Mount, PA. They sat down together at Concord Point Lighthouse at the meeting of the Chesapeake Bay and the Susquehanna River. After months of listening to each other’s creative output online, they improvised the beginning of a set reflecting their surroundings and themselves. Bormet and Rice have created a special video of their collaboration.
