November In-Person Piñata Workshop with Yesenia Prieto-Sold out
Due to popular demand, there will be another in-person piñata workshop! Join the Piñata Design Studio team (Yesenia Prieto, Mia Baez, and Andrew Munguia) for a guided group project where you can dress, decorate, and fill with a special note a large scale piñata. Learn from authentic makers about the history of the craft and inner working of building a piñata.
Class attendees can expect a guided piñata designing course, lasting about an hour and a half. Choose clothing that can be stained. The class price includes all the time and material its takes to create your dream mini piñata!
As an extra bonus, every participant will be giving a mini piñata filled with surprises that you can take home, decorate, and dress with your loved ones.
Cost: $25 including all the embellishments and candy you can carry!
The health and safety of our visitors and staff is our top priority. All attendees age 12 and older will need to show proof of full vaccination and all attendees under age 12 will need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours prior to the event. We also require everyone to wear a face mask when inside the museum.
This project is supported by a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
