ARTIST TALK: TOM KILLION

We had a great turnout at Tom Killion’s talk on Saturday (6/4/16) at the Craft in America Center. People came from near and as far as Marin County to hear Tom speak about his new book, CALIFORNIA’S WILD EDGE. This book illustrates Killion’s prints of the California coast from Mendocino, Point Reyes, and the San Francisco Bay down through Carmel, Big Sur, Santa Barbara, and Santa Monica with poetry by Gary Snyder. Killion discussed the process of creating his newest book as well as his printing process. He also revealed that the next project he’s working with Gary Snyder on is a book on trees.
