School Outreach Program Exhibition in May

After Craft in America’s final field trips and workshops for this scholastic year, we are getting ready for our School Outreach Showcase opening in May. We will be featuring student work created during our ukulele drawing, printmaking, mosaic, and kaleidoscope photography workshops. Join us at the Craft in America Center to help celebrate the artwork of these emerging talents!

School Outreach Showcase:
Artwork by Van Nuys and Fairfax High School Students

May 14 – 28, 2016

Now in its second year, Craft in America’s School Outreach Program has grown to include both Fairfax High School Visual Arts Magnet and Van Nuys High School this year. This exhibition highlights artwork created by students at both schools throughout the past year. Working with our partners in the LAUSD public school system, students had the opportunity to meet nationally recognized artists from our episode series as well as local artists who carry on important traditions and craft legacies.
