Ritual and Craft of the Cocktail

We invited cocktail aficionados Marcos Tello and Joe Keeper to the Center to share their knowledge of spirits, barware and cocktail history in honor of Crafting the Cocktail. A highlight: Marcos and Joe reminiscing about the early days of cocktail craft in Los Angeles, when bartenders had to prepare their own syrups and bitters. Now there are entire businesses dedicated to the production of these ingredients— finely crafted ones, at that.
