Craft in Schools: Fairfax Student Work opens 4/10/15
In 2013, Craft in America initiated a pilot program with Fairfax High School Arts Magnet to bring artists into the classroom and students into the Craft in America Center. By giving public high school students the chance to meet working, professional artists in the field, students are able to learn about these artists’ careers and how they create their art.
On April 10 2015, Fairfax High School Arts Magnet students will install some of the projects that they’ve worked on with Craft in America artists. Please visit the Center to see their work between April 10, 2015 – April 18, 2015.
