Art and Other Tactics Closing at CAFAM, Travels to San Francisco

Art and Other Tactics: Contemporary Craft by Artist Veterans closes tomorrow, September 5 at the Craft and Folk Art Museum (CAFAM) in Los Angeles. The exhibition travels to San Francisco next where it will be on view at the San Francisco Museum of Craft and Design (SFMCD) from September 26, 2015 – March 20, 2016. The Craft in America House Band will perform Songs for Soldiers, an evening of music, for the closing reception of Art and Other Tactics at CAFAM on Sunday, September 6, from 4:00-5:00pm. The concert includes songs ranging from traditional folk and country, to more contemporary takes on service, military and war songs.

Art and Other Tactics was curated by Craft in America Center Director Emily Zaiden, and developed as a partnership between Craft in America, the Craft and Folk Art Museum and the Museum of Craft and Design.
