Susie Ganch
Susie Ganch is a jewelry artist. Her work explores permeability and interconnectedness. By playing with material, design, and function, she pushes the expectations of how jewelry both looks and feels when worn.
She is currently an Assistant Professor and Head of the Metal/Jewelry Program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Susie also teaches workshops across the country at schools including Penland School of Crafts and Mendocino Art Center.
She received her BS and MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and attended California College of Art, Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts and Penland School of Crafts. Her work can be found in the collections of the Asheville Art Academy, the John Crutchfield and Artemis Gallery as well as private collections. Susie is represented by Velvet da Vinci Gallery and Quirk Gallery.
