Erik Gronborg

Gronborg came to the U.S. from Denmark in 1959 and studied with Voulkos at UC Berkeley. In addition to ceramic sculpture, he worked across media, including wood, cast metal, and printmaking.

The car is the supreme example of how our environment shapes our attitudes and ways of seeing and hearing. – EG
