As the sun set on Sunday evening, the Center was full of visitors enjoying a program of acoustic music by the Craft in America house band, the singing duo Katie and Ezra, and poetry by Randy Oglesby. The House Band, composed of Argenta Walther, Melinda Rice, Terry de Castro, and Morgan Helen Smith, presented folk songs on strings and percussion with voice. Many songs were 17th century ballads written about loved ones at war alongside some favorites including a cover of Army Dreamers by Kate Bush. Katie and Ezra poignantly shared country songs that told of military experiences. Oglesby recited poetry dedicated to soldiers over a soft musical piece by Melinda Rice.
