Randy Stromsoe

Randy Stromsoe is a classically trained silversmith, who works in a variety of styles which include sterling silver and pewter in the Arts and Crafts period of his master, the late Porter Blanchard, as well as his own unique contempory designs in gold, silver, pewter, copper and wood.

Stromsoe began working with master silversmith, Porter Blanchard, who at the time was in his mid-80’s and showed no signs of slowing down in his golden years, at the age of 19. In 1979, Stromsoe moved from Los Angeles to Cambria to start his own studio with a handful of tools and no clients. In 1980, the Williamsburg Foundation (Colonial Williamsburg) found and hired Stromsoe to fill a special order for the U.S. State Deptartment. Stromsoe's work now spans 4 decades and is highly sought after by corporate and private collectors worldwide.
