Benjamin Moore

Benjamin Moore (b. 1952, Olympia, WA) is a glass artist who creates beautiful vessels forms with interesting shapes, vivid colors and stripes.

Moore is the owner of Benjamin Moore, Inc. (BMI), where he has produced his work since 1985. BMI also provides hot shop resources and a team of highly skilled glass blowers who assist a number of artists including Dan Dailey, Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra, Debora Moore, Richard Royal, Dante Marioni, Preston Singletary, Ethan Stern, and Sean O’Neill to name a few. Moore is also a designer at the Venini Factory, Murano-Venice, Italy and J&L Lobmeyr,Vienna, Austria.

Moore received his BFA from California College of the Arts and MFA from Rhode Island School of Design. Moore has had a longtime affiliation with Pilchuck Glass School as its Interim Executive Director, Artistic Director, Faculty, and currently as a member of the Board of Trustees. He is also an American Craft Council Fellow. His work is in numerous museums and private collections throughout the world.
