Helena Hernmarck

Helena Hernmarck (b. 1941 Stockholm, Sweden) is a textile artist and weaver who specializes in large-scale public tapestries. She uses spun and dyed yarns from Sweden and Swedish looms.

She received her education at the Stockholm College of Arts, Crafts, and Design. She moved to North America at 22 years old and has had her own textile studio for over 30 years. Her work is represented in the Museum of Modern Art New York, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the National Museum of American Art.
