Arline Fisch

Arline Fisch (b. 1931 Brooklyn, NY) is an artist who uses fiber techniques like knitting, crocheting, and weaving to create metal jewelry. She creates collars, pectorals, head ornaments in a larger than usual scale.

She received her B.S. from Skidmore College and M.A. from the University of Illinois. She has taught at San Diego State University for 39 years, Skidmore College, and Wheaton College. Her work can be found in the collection of Arkansas Arts Center, Racine Art Museum, Museum of Fine Art, Boston, Museum of Arts & Design, Renwick Gallery at the Smithsonian Institution, among others.
