Robert Silverman

Robert Silverman is a clay artist. His current body of work reflects his fascination with the visual representation of information and language, specifically the relation between verbal and written language.

He received his BFA from Kansas City Art Institute and MFA in ceramics from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. He is currently the Director of the Ceramics Department at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. His work can be found in the collection of the Arizona State University Art Museum Ceramic Research Center, the Mint Museum, the Racine Art Museum, the Archie Bray Foundation, among others.
